Cooling/Heating
Stages

We have two temperature modulating
stages for use on microscopes.
Water-cooled Peltier Stage
The solid sterling silver cooling/heating
stage accepts a 1" by 3" microscope slide or 3" Petri dish. It
will maintain specimen temperature as low as -10 degrees C, with an ambient
tap water flow of 0.25 liter per minute through the 1/8" tubing connections.
The under surface is relieved to accomodate a 1.4na condenser or an objective
when used on an inverted microscope. The unit is insulated from the microscope
with Teflon strips. It will heat to 50 degrees C or more in heating mode. The
power supply is included with this unit.
Air-cooled Peltier Stage temperature
stage will maintain a 1" by 3" slide at 12-13 degrees C at an ambient
temperature of 20 degrees C. It will also heat to 50 degrees C. Sterling silver
heat transfer plates quickly exchange heat to the 14 cm. diameter finned disc
which sits on the microscope stage. Not suitable for high n/a inverted microscopes.
Power supply included.
