Filter Wheel
The filter wheel accepts 25 mm diameter filters, up to 7 mm thick! The clear
aperture is 23 mm. The wheel is black anodized aluminum and is 12mm thick. The
wheel is fully supported by both annular and thrust ball bearings. A quiet and
positive stepper motor driver is implemented by no slip cog wheels and belt.
The stepper motor is a smooth 400 steps/revolution. The unit is supplied with
appropriate adapters for direct mounting between your microscope and lamphouse,
or in line with a Scrambler system.
